This is how the work visit of our friends from the EARTH organization went. The program of their ten-day study visit was busy. Colleagues from EARTH Thailand, for example, spoke at the Biodetectors Conference, which Arnika co-organized, and presented their experience and results of their work. We visited the Enviropol factory in Jihlava, which processes e-waste from the Czech Republic and the EU. At the Skautský institut we had a meeting with journalists, where we presented our joint work on projects in Thailand and Indonesia. We visited the SVU laboratories where dangerous dioxins are analyzed. These are harmful substances that are produced in industrial plants or during the unprofessional processing of plastic electronic waste. We visited the castle in Horni Jiretin, where we met politician and activist Vladimir Burt. In this place it is still clearly visible how far human indifference to nature protection can go. At the end of the day, we went to the meadows in the Czech Central Highlands, where Arnika has been taking care of rare plants for a long time.
