Up to 2700 hydropower plants are planned to be built in the countries of Western Balkans, 300 of them just in Bosnia and Herzegovina alone. The number of planned projects is higher than number of all rivers across the country. Arnika went back to Bosnia to work with Center for Environment on helping local partners in their struggle to save wild and unique rivers. This time we invited journalists to inform the general public about massive construction and its impact on nature and people.
